12noon/Theater: Nolan Harris will present the basics of caricature and how understanding exaggeration can strengthen an artist's skills in other avenues of art and expression too. Nolan will also explain how caricaturing has contributed to his growth as a working artist and businessman. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Nolan eventually made the move to Seattle to develop his art-entertainment business 'Over The Line Art' with business partner Dexter Rothchild. 5 years and 12 artists later, Over The Line Art has become the TOP CHOICE for caricature entertainment in the Pacific North West.

'THE PENCIL & VIDEO GAME DESIGN WITH MIKE TON
1.00pm/Theater: Mike Ton is an experienced and talented video game creative artist with extensive experience on the research and development side. Mike mixes technical expertise with a developed capability in traditional arts. Mike enjoys taking on a broad gamut of challenges - encompassing the complete production pipeline, from designing to implementation. He has worked with a variety of top game companies, including Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. Mike has also taught 'Game Design & Development' at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment in Seattle. Currently Mike is with the Niantics team, as a Unity Developer. Join Mike and learn how the pencil is still incredibly important to everything he does.

2.00pm/Theater: Silvia Pompei is a rare and unique creative talent – a female animator in a man’s world and one of the most accomplished talents on ‘The Simpsons’ TV show! Beyond the Simpsons TV shows and movie Silvia is a hugely experienced animator with credits on such projects as "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" to "Cool World", "Mr Magoo" , “The Rugrats”, “Ferngully: The Last Rain Forest” and many more productions. Passionate about storytelling through character animation, storyboarding and documentary filmmaking, Silvia shares her work and knowledge - inspired by, or founded with, her use of the ‘humble pencil’.

'THE PENCIL, MY MOVIE & ME' WITH ELLIOT COWAN
3.00pm/Theater: Elliot Cowan is a New York based artist, animator and teacher who has written & directed his first 2D animated movie "The Stressful Adventures of Boxhead & Roundhead'. Elliot made the film for a budget much less than many animated 30 second TV commercials! So meet Elliot and hear him explain the secrets of indie-style guerrilla filmmaking, and view the movie too - for its official Seattle premiere. For more about Elliot, click HERE. 'THE PENCIL & AN ANIMATOR'S SKETCHCLUB 'HAPPY HOUR' WITH TONY WHITE
12.00noon/Classroom: Tony White's 'ANIMATOR'S SKETCHCLUB' has attracted a membership of over 6,000 in the first 13 months! Tony's forthcoming book on drawing for animation, 'The ANIMATOR'S SKETCHBOOK', teaches the core principle of movement through observational drawing - to be published by Focal Press later in 2016. At this unique drawing workshop Tony offers students the opportunity of spending a 'happy hour' with him, drawing for animation and learning some principles of animation as they go. Beginners and professionals are all welcome! Definitely a 'happy hour' for those who love drawing and animation! Don't forget to bring your sketchbook & pencils!
