LOCATION
TRAVEL ADVISORY: Please note that on Friday April 29th the Seattle viaduct will be closed for 2 weeks! So travelers to DRAWTASTIC on Route 99 from the north of Seattle might want to find an alternative route (such as I-5) to the West Seattle Bridge instead. Travelers on Route 99 to the bridge from the south should not be affected however!

DRAWTASTIC 2016 will be held at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, located at 4408 Delridge Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106. Within easy reach across the West Seattle Bridge from all the main freeways in the region - I-5, I-90 and route 99 - out-of-towners might also like to know that 'Youngstown' is just a 20mins car/cab drive from SeaTac Airport! Indeed, so aware are we of everyone's aversion to driving in downtown Seattle traffic, that we scoured the entire outer Seattle area to find THE perfect location to put on this kind of exciting & diverse event. In the end we were extremely excited to discover that the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center had everything we needed - including significant parking facilities outside! It was clearly a match made in heaven! 'Youngstown' is also a non-profit organization on a mission to support the arts and artists in its West Seattle location, and therefore provides wonderful facilities that will ensure we can give all our guests & attendees the very best experience possible. Our 'artist alley' style of vendor tables will be located in the spacious 'Movement Studio', whereas our main presentations and awards presentation show will take place in the beautiful stage & screen 'Thelma Dewitty Theater'. A third room, the 'South Classroom' will facilitate drawing sessions, workshops and a continuous, informal full-time animation screening of all the films entered into the 2D OR NOT 2D Animation Festival's 'Golden Pencil Awards' competition. As you will see, we have worked extremely hard to provide a vibrant, creative and inspirational experience for everyone who visits us!

SEATTLE TRAFFIC!
Visitors to Seattle should know how bad traffic can be in and out of downtown! Consequently for first-time visitors, the strongest advice is to stay in West Seattle if possible, to avoid any transportation hold-ups. DRAWTASTIC is being held on a Saturday, which can be better than a weekday in terms of traffic. However, before starting your journey to the festival you are advise to click on the 'Traffic' link on Google maps to ascertain how good (or bad) the traffic is on the day.
